After opening for Wallows and touring Europe in support of her album "Roxwell", UK singer-songwriter Matilda Mann made her return to Belgium for a performance that felt more like a gathering among friends than a typical gig.
Set in a cozy, low-lit venue filled with true fans, the atmosphere was warm and personal from the start. Matilda delivered a heartfelt set that blended some of her older songs like "dazed and confused" with a few unreleased tracks, offering a quiet preview of what's to come in her next chapter.
Her ability to connect with the crowd was effortless. She shared the stories behind certain lyrics, and let her soft, honest vocals do the rest. The room seemed to lean in closer with each line, wrapped in the gentle intimacy of her sound.
For those in the crowd, it was a special night. Matilda reminded us why she stands out as one of the most emotionally resonant voices in the indie scene, and left everyone curious and excited for what she’ll share next.
