A band consisting of nine individuals seems very overwhelming at first, but NoFun! prove it can be done, sharing their first single ‘Spend It!’ with the world on August 10th 2022. Their Instagram is filled with entertaining videos to promote their live shows and posts to show off their personal projects, as every member in this band also has a solo career.
They have recently released a number of solo projects, including: “Wide Boy” by Dave Coresh, “BANG!” by Garrett Gloom, “Idling Outside”, an EP by Levi Evans and “Make Yourself at Home”, an album by Zoodeville. These artists are all vocalists for NoFun!.
The bunch are based in Los Angeles, which explains their social media handle @nofunla. Although they were founded in Los Angeles, they do have a few members from outside of the city, coming from Ireland and France. They mostly release music in the alt-rock, west coast hiphop and bedroom pop genres.

After a lot of Fun! shows in America, they decided to move on and spend their time in Europe this summer, playing big festivals like Pinkpop, Rock Werchter, Lollapalooza, Latitude and many more. We personally came across them when they opened for Inhaler at a show in Luxembourg.
The venue we saw them perform at was quite small, it was hilarious to s
ee that many people squeezed onto such a little stage, but it only made their set more fascinating. Their on-stage presence was insane and they really knew how to get the energy going within the crowd. We loved the experience of such an intimate setting for such an energetic group of people. In all
honesty, we have nothing bad to say about the band. They even took their time to take photos with the fans who waited outside after the concert. A few hours before the show they had also made an appearance, they handed out stickers to the people at the front of the queue, making it a beautiful moment full of connection.
If you ever get the chance to see them, we would highly recommend checking them out. Since they’re still pretty small artists, tickets would be more affordable and it’s definitely worth seeing them live. You don’t necessarily have to be familiar with their songs to enjoy their gigs and have a good time. NoFun! is playing a show in Los Angeles on the 19th of September, the last one of their world tour. If you happen to be in the area, give them a chance and be sure to stop by!
